Ski Resorts Designer
It all begins with an idea!
Whatever it is, the way you tell
can make all the difference.
I graduated in Forestry Sciences at the prestigious University of Padua on December 16, 1983, and I have been proudly licensed to practice as a freelance professional since May 1984. Since 1987, I have been actively carrying out consultancy services and conducting workshops in various European countries, focusing on the effective methods of applying false color infrared surveys for the thorough analysis of damage inflicted on forests due to the adverse effects of acid rain. This particular work spanned the years from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, I have also served as a consultant in the remote sensing sector, working on its numerous applications for effective territorial planning and management.
From the year 1993 to 2013, I served as a dedicated Member of the National Council of the esteemed Association of Managers of Ski Resorts, known as D.S.I. Additionally, from the year 2000 until 2006, I took on the important role of Board Member, representing the Province of Padua, of Prov.Eco. srl, which focuses on Province Ecology. Furthermore, from 2001 to 2007, I was actively involved as a Member of the Technical Scientific Committee of the Euganean Hills Regional Park, contributing my expertise to this vital organization.

Report at the international meeting titled “Strategies for Reducing the Environmental Impact of Tourism,” which was organized by the ISEP (International Society for Environmental Protection) and held in Vienna, on the topic “The Environmental Impact Assessment: An Indispensable Instrument for the Individuation and Mitigation of Human Impact in Mountain Environments.”
Additionally, I served as a teacher for updating courses organized by the D.S.I. - Mountain Professionals - specifically designed for ski resort operators. During these sessions, I provided insights on the environmental impact assessment as a crucial support tool in the design of alpine ski slopes, alongside discussing the various aspects and types of approaches relevant to effective ski resort planning.
